Celebrating the Launch of ELOI USA: Standing Together for Justice and Hope

Last Sunday marked a monumental milestone for our community as we officially launched ELOI USA. The event was a heartfelt gathering dedicated to appreciating all the incredible individuals who have stood by our side. It was a day of reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to our shared purpose.

Eternal Life Organization International Ministries (ELOI Ministries Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization driven by a team of passionate individuals. Together, we envision a world where New Americans thrive, youth overcome addiction, and cultures connect, with dignity and hope restored. Since 2021, we have been working together as campaigners and policy experts to make the USA a fairer, more equal place.

Making the US a Fairer, More Equal Place

We challenge injustice, defend freedom, and campaign to ensure everyone in the US is treated fairly. We hold the powerful to account and advocate for those who need it most. Our work is deeply rooted in several core areas:

  • Access To Justice: When immigrants arrive in the US seeking relief, many face incarceration in detention centers—sparking renewed trauma and exposing them to institutional racism. We work closely with partners to strengthen interventions, protect rights, and ensure inclusiveness in program monitoring.
  • Health & Mental Health Recovery: Health is a top priority for ELOI Ministries. In the USA, our focus leans heavily toward mental health, supporting youths and individuals navigating the immense pressures of displacement and addiction.
  • Post-Recovery Support: We offer a unique, self-sponsored post-recovery trip to Uganda, East Africa. Young people recovering from drug addiction are placed on hands-on projects with our sister organization for 3 to 12+ months, helping them discover themselves and find renewed purpose.

Broadening Experiences Through Volunteerism

We encourage people to travel, discover, and explore beyond their geographical boundaries. Our programs allow communities to connect in meaningful ways:

  • Host an Immigrant: You can make a direct impact by hosting an immigrant who has recently been released from detention or whose time at an immigrant shelter has expired.
  • Volunteer Services: Join a community of compassionate individuals dedicated to creating positive change.

Meet the Founder: A Journey of Resilience

Our mission is deeply personal. Our founder is a human rights and political activist originally from Uganda, where he faced severe persecution, detention, and torture for encouraging citizens to vote. After seeking legal asylum in the U.S., he endured over two years of detention in Texas, where his diabetes went untreated, causing severe vision loss.

Despite these profound hardships, his spirit was not broken. Today, he channels that resilience into ELOI USA, working directly with grassroots organizations at the southern border to identify and support those who genuinely need a second chance.

You Can Give Joy Today

The launch last Sunday was just the beginning. We invite you to join our community of compassionate individuals dedicated to serving those in need. Your time and efforts will leave a lasting impact and create memories that will warm your heart forever.
