Post Recovery Support

Under this program, we work with recovery organizations to host individuals in a post recovery trip to participate in hands on projects under our sister organization in Uganda- East Africa.

Under the care and supervision of a specialized support team, participants in post recovery trips will engage in a 3-6 or more months service and learning experience.

‘Under this program, we work with recovery organizations to host individuals in a post recovery trip to participate in hands on projects under our sister organization in Uganda- East Africa.Under the care and supervision of a specialized support team, participants in post recovery trips will engage in a 3-6 or more months service and learning experience. Our hope is that through serving on projects at the grass root level participants will have the opportunity to gain valuable work skills, create a connection with a supportive community, give beyond themselves in service, and assist in allowing for a sense of self-discovery.As there is no readily available access to street drugs in Uganda, our participants will have the opportunity to engage in a community that will allow them the opportunity to find a deeper meaning and purpose within themselves without distraction of temptation to return to addictive behaviors. With support, we hope to provide those in post recovery with a renewed vitality and dignity upon their return to the US.’

Our Achievements:

We do care a lot about the privacy of our beneficiaries, and we might not be able to share specific individual information unless permission is granted but we have 6 immigrants from different countries that we are working with in our meager resources and want to do much more with your support and partnership.
