Through this program, we collaborate with recovery organizations to host individuals on post-recovery trips to Uganda, East Africa. Participants, under the supervision of a specialized support team, engage in service and learning experiences for 3-6 months or longer. These hands-on projects aim to equip participants with valuable work skills, foster connections with supportive communities, and promote self-discovery.

With no access to street drugs in Uganda, participants can focus on finding deeper meaning and purpose without the temptation of addictive behaviors. This environment, combined with community support, helps renew their vitality and dignity, which they can carry back to the US.
