Free Apartment Furnishing

We believe that every person deserves to live with hope, justice, and dignity. Together, we can create a community where no one is left behind, and where love is expressed through practical, everyday acts of service.

Free Apartment Furnishing

for New Americans in Vermont

There is a moment in every resettlement journey when a person steps into their new apartment for the first time. The door closes behind them, and for a brief second, the silence is overwhelming. A new beginning is beautiful, but it can also feel empty, especially when the space has no bed, no table, no dishes, and no warmth. Starting over in a new country is already a heavy load; no one should begin that journey on a bare floor.

At ELOI USA, we believe that welcome should be more than words. It should be something you can touch, sit on, sleep in, and gather around. That is why we are launching our newest initiative: Free Apartment Furnishing for New Americans in Vermont.

Why This
Project Matters

Every year, individuals and families arrive in Vermont seeking safety, stability, and a chance to rebuild their lives. Many come with little more than the clothes they are wearing. They carry stories of courage, loss, and resilience, but not the household items that make a place feel like home.

A furnished apartment is more than furniture.

By providing beds, tables, chairs, kitchen essentials, and other household items, we are helping new Americans begin their lives in Vermont with a sense of belonging and stability.

What We Provide,

Our team and volunteers work together to supply:

• Beds and bedding

• Sofas and living room essentials

• Dining tables and chairs

• Kitchenware and cookware

• Basic household items, including both new and used clothes

• Warm touches that make a space feel like home

Each apartment is furnished with care, intention, and respect for the family or individual who will live there.

A Community Effort Rooted in Love

This project reflects the heart of ELOI USA: serving with compassion, honoring human dignity, and building community through simple, meaningful acts. We partner with local families, churches, organizations, and donors who believe that welcoming newcomers is not just a responsibility, it is a privilege.

When we furnish an apartment, we are not just delivering items. We are delivering hope. We are saying, “You are not alone. You are part of us now.”

A Message to New Americans

To every person beginning a new chapter in Vermont:
We see your courage. We honor your journey. We welcome you with open hearts.

Your story matters here. Your presence enriches our community. And as you rebuild your life, we will walk with you, one room, one home, one act of kindness at a time.

Moving Forward Together

ELOI USA remains committed to creating a Vermont where every person, regardless of where they come from, can live with safety, dignity, and hope. This new project is one more step toward that vision. Together, we can build a community where welcome is not just spoken but lived.
